Prof. Jeanne-Françoise Fischer

Jeanne-Françoise Fischer is a Swiss/German architect with many years of international professional and teaching experience. The focus of her work in practice and teaching is in the area of architectural design, emphasizing the analysis and conception of different building typologies, construction methods, economy, ecology, social sustainability, and the urban context.
Before joining Berlin International University, Jeanne-Françoise Fischer taught and researched at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK), the Dessau International Architecture Graduate School (DIA), the Northeastern University School of Architecture (NEU), and the Technical University of Braunschweig (TUBS). Working experiences and collaborations include Herzog & de Meuron Architects Basel (CH), SANAA Tokyo (JP), Adjaye / Associates London (GB), and Lacaton & Vassal Architectes Paris (F).
Jeanne-Françoise Fischer studied architecture at the Technical University Berlin (TUB), the Federal University of Technology Zurich (ETH), and the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK).
