New MA “Architecture & Spatial Practices” Starts This Fall
The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Berlin International University of Applied Sciences is expanding its range of programs to include the “Architecture & Spatial Practices” Master's degree course in the winter semester 2025/26.
The new Master's program is research- and practice-oriented and can be studied in two variants: as a two-year program with 120 ECTS or as a one-year variant with 60 ECTS. Students benefit from a broad curriculum without thematic restrictions and can specialize in one of three areas: “Urban & Social Practice”, “Material & Resilience Practice”, “Critical & Curatorial Practice”
International and praxis-driven: Rethinking Architecture
“The M.A. in Architecture and Spatial Design offers an exceptional opportunity to explore spatial challenges through an international lens,” states Prof. Javier Martín, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design as well as the Vice President of Berlin International. “It balances research-driven inquiry with practical applications and pairs a generalist curriculum with flexible specialization tracks.
