
BI Talk with Prof. Dominik Schumacher
On Wednesday, April 26, at 18:00, the second BI Talk of the Spring Semester 2023 will take place. Our guest, Prof. Dominik Schumacher, co-founder of the design studio TheGreenEyl, will give a lecture on designing experiences. The presentation title is “Out of the Substance—How to Create Contextualized, Engaging, and Meaningful Experiences?”.
Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss.
The BI Talk will take place on campus at Salzufer 6, 10587 Berlin, in Studio 2.

About Dominik Schumacher
Dominik Schumacher heads the Institute for Industrial Design Technologies at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. He has been a Professor of Interaction Design Technologies and deputy head of the Digital Business Management program since 2016. He is also a trained engineer for industrial electronics and studied digital media design at the Berlin University of the Arts.
About Studio TheGreenEyl
The Green Eyl is a multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2009 comprising Willy Sengewald, Dominik Schumacher, Frédéric Eyl, Richard The, and Gunnar Green, based in Berlin and New York. The Green Eyl examines the tension between aesthetics and technology and develops, among other things, interactive installations for museums and public spaces.
