10th Anniversary Celebration of BI
Berlin International University of Applied Sciences proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary on Tuesday, July 9th, with a grand event held at the university campus. The celebration highlighted the university’s growth and achievements over the past decade, bringing together students, faculty, alumni, and distinguished guests.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from the moderator, Joeley Beckett. Following the introduction, President Yüksel Pöğün-Zander, Ph.D., delivered an inspiring speech reflecting on the university’s journey and future aspirations.
Amara Goodwin, a proud BI graduate who began her studies in 2014 and is now the Head of the Program for the Master of Interior Architecture/Interior Design and Master of Interior Design programs, took the stage to share insights into the innovative programs and the impact of the university’s academic offerings on students' careers.
Enver Yücel, President of BAU Global, provided a broader perspective on the institution’s place within the global educational landscape, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration and the university’s role in fostering global citizenship.
The highlight of the evening was the address by the Guest of Honor, Ahmet Başar Şen, the Turkish Ambassador to Germany, who acknowledged the university’s contributions to educational excellence and cultural exchange between Turkey and Germany.
The event concluded with a reception, where attendees networked and celebrated the milestone with refreshments.
