Erin Kim, M.A.
Graphic Design and Visual Communication
Erin Hyelin Kim is a designer at MetaDesign, working at the intersection of graphic design and architecture. Her practice includes signage, brand space, and exhibition design. Her recent work has focused on the integration of virtual reality, exploring spatial tools to create unique experiences. She has previously worked for I-K-Design, Pentagram, Sasaki Associates, MIT Design Lab, and Studio Other Spaces/Studio Olafur Eliasson. Her work has been recognized by the Type Director’s Club and by Communication Arts. Since 2017, Erin has assisted in teaching graphic and architectural design at Yale University School of Architecture, Rhode Island School of Design, Mt. Saint Joseph University, and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Erin holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
