Greeting Speech by the President
Berlin International Alumni Association Greeting
President: Yüksel Pöğün‐Zander, PhD
Dear graduates of Berlin International,
In times that are characterized by rapid pace and change, maintaining connections and contacts is becoming increasingly important. With the Berlin International Alumni Association, we are creating a network that enables you to stay in touch with your alma mater after you have completed your studies. Wherever your path leads you in this world, it is important for us to stay in contact with you. In the course of your studies, you, too made a significant contribution to our university and gained a wealth of experience. Let us take these experiences out into the world together.
A strong, global network promotes connection and exchange, it can provide support on your career path. Membership in the BIAA enables you to actively benefit from this network - you will receive regular information about developments at the university and can take part in get-togethers and career advice events. Your membership will make it easier for you to maintain contact with your peers around the world allowing you to constantly expand your specialist and professional network. You, too can become active and help shape the BIAA: Take part at events, connect with partners or support new students as a mentor.
Internationality and interculturality are of central importance for the Berlin International University of Applied Sciences. Together, we can meet the challenges of our increasingly globalized world productively and shape the future.
We look forward to connecting with you as active alumni.
Yours sincerely,
Yüksel Pöğün‐Zander
