Anc Ciechanowicz, M.A.
Anc comes to Berlin International after years of working on visual and interaction design in various markets for corporates and start-ups. Her principal role is that of UX leadess and product designer. She’s attracted to the practical side of design and believes that the work she does has the power to bring change and make others’ lives easier. As a visual artist, Anc creates at the meeting point of visual communication and social interaction. Her work is exploring the in-betweens of relationships. She uses letters and physical space to create space for an exchange.
Anc attended Aalto University in Helsinki, where she earned her MA degree. She also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
As a design thinking process facilitator, she supported Aalto University Public Sector Hackathon, Bosch Connected Experience Hackathon, and PJATK Social Design Course. She also served as a guest lecturer in The Poster Class at Massachusetts College of Art And Design, where she discussed Polish Poster Design history and theory.
